Apt. #2. There isn't a huge variation in the floor plan from one apartment unit to the next. The middle 2 apartments have a little less backyard due to the pond and public area in front of them.
Bambie signs the rental agreement.
Bambie uses the phone to *place ad for roommate.*
Bambie accepts the first person who called to inquire about the apartment.
Net worth - $1337.Odd, Scott had a phone before. (?glitch?)
I don't recall what I did, but somehow I got Scott to come to her lot. Scott and Bambie share a kiss. It's Bambie's first kiss.
Bambie relaxes on the hammock. (Jar Card - woohoo on hammock click for more pictures)
Bambie earns a purple heart memory.
Bambie earns perm plat status.
Someone built a snowman in front of the 4th apartment.Bambie is starting to show she has Scott's little one in her tummy.
Room mate satisfaction meter.
Room mate satisfaction meter. Bambie is fishing. Andy, her brother, is fishing with her. Candy just finished blowing/breathing bubbles.
Money: Sims continue to earn money from fishing, digging for treasure, or painting. Painting is used if fishing and digging for treasure are not available due to weather. I'm starting to think this is more profitable than having a job. All free time is spent making money, no need to skill build. Have time to keep sim in plat so they can use the energizer, as well as, earn perm plat status sooner. When I first read the Poverty Challenge rules, I thought the lack of job would cause more hardship.

hahaha, love the hammock woohoo, i don't remember doing that in my own game. omg, those are some UGLY babies! holy crap!
how do you bring up roommate satisfaction? Do you just build up a relationship?
So the roomate is a family sim which is why satisfaction is high even though Bambie had twins? I know if my roomate suddenly had twins, I would become very unpleasant to live with.
I love reksims comment: "I know if my roomate suddenly had twins, I would become very unpleasant to live with."
I completely agree! Reading your blog is giving me so many ideas. The lack of job status has been interesting. I think at times it is more profitable, except when you get into the higher job positions and get those big raises.
I'm new to dealing with roommates. I should test it to see what I can do to make them upset. Most of the ones I've had, seem satisfied with little to nothing. Just friendship and have things available for their needs. I don't think the family sim part played a roll in satisfaction. I've since had other aspirations that had the same result.
