8.1

Winter in the Grotto.
Apartment complex. Four available units. Common area is only what is seen in the front of the buildings.

$5,428 per week.
First floor. Each rental unit has a large back yard. Lots of room for a growing family.
2nd floor. 4 bedrooms (one on the first floor could be used as the kitchen) and two large family rooms.
Another shot of the grounds area. There are a total of 4 community bathrooms. You can see two in front of the 2nd apartment.

Rental contract is signed.

All money shown in this picture is of the sims networth *handout.* I moved everyone in, before I played the first house. I wanted them all to be available if I needed to call them.
Funds reduced to zero. The sim fishes for money. After he cashes in his first catch, he has $814.
Sim is very close to perm plat status. He has a want to sell a master piece. I put him to painting in hopes to put him back in plat so he can use the energizer without concerns of needs failure.

His needs drop to green level by the time he finished the painting. He sold it and visited the energizer.
By Tuesday at 5:29, he hit perm plat status. Life will be easy for him. He no longer has to work to keep him in plat so he can use the energizer.
Misc: When they first changed the way perm plat status worked, I didn't care for it. I know enjoy it. This sim is one day post uni and has achieved his perm plat status. It took attention to keep him in plat during the younger years, as well as a vacation. I play with more focus on keeping the sims happy.
He finally has enough money to buy a telescope.

Sim had a want to find a room mate. He found one using the newspaper.

The room mate appreciates a roof over his head.
At night, the sim watches for UFO's.
During the day, he digs for treasure.
By Fri at 5:41 am, he gets abducted.
Note: Abductions seem to come easier than I remember them. No cheats or helps used to get abduction.
This picture shows the sims *nose* deep in the toilet. (ewe)
Its Saturday, time for Landlord to order pizza.
Misc: There is a BBQ grill on the lot, but no tables. I'm guessing the lack of tables is why he orders pizza. I left out tables, because sims will place food on tables in common areas instead of the one in their house.
Belly dust poof.
Sunday, 8:30 pm. Sim has $15,074 cash plus two treasure chests in his backpack.
Room mate has high satisfaction rate.
Rent is due, he only has to pay $2,714.
Note: I didn't even consider giving him a room mate in order to help with the rent cost. Thanks to his want, he (and I) have a little more help. Monday 9:24 am. Sim goes into labor.
Will the little on have the dads nose or the alien nose. (It is hard waiting.)
More Birth Photo's
Eric and Eugene. Twin alien boys.
He asks a neighbor to *watch kids.*
Note: I don't recall what the disaster card was or why I failed to play one. This house was played about 3 week prior to posting it.

i love that apartment lot, can you send it to me. the ones in my game are crap, too small and weirdly set up.

my landlords have yet to throw a party, damn it. haven't done the roommate thing yet either - so many things to try! aww, poor baby impaled by Pinocchio nose.

See, I'm telling you, we need to set up a download site: Jan's unusual lot creations.
